Fortescue’s Solomon mine is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to support outages and major shutdowns. You will assist planning, conduct field work, and develop safe work instructions while driving continuous improvement in maintenance strategies.
The role is based at Solomon/Eliwana facilities with FIFO from Perth. The position requires a mechanical trade and Schedule 26 qualification, with experience in process plant maintenance, safety leadership, and SAP CMMS proficiency.

Work Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: Floating 8D6R (in line with the shutdown schedule) – FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the OPF Central Services Coordinator, this role will be responsible in supplying technical support to the shut and maintenance teams, additional labour support and leadership during Mod outages and Major shutdowns. You will also play an active part in improving maintenance practices and strategies.
This permanent full-time position is within the Central Maintenance Department of Solomon and Eliwana Process Plant Facilities.
