Fortescue is seeking a Mine Control Superintendent to oversee remote mine control operations in Perth. As a Mine Control Superintendent, you will lead the daily operation of remote mine control rooms across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing mining operations. You will monitor and analyse operational performance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead projects that enhance processes and align teams with industry best practices. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will oversee project delivery, resolve operational challenges, and implement strategies that improve productivity, system performance, and operational excellence.
A key aspect of the role is developing and supporting Mine Control Supervisors through coaching, performance management, and tailored training to build future leaders. Leveraging your expertise in mine control systems and data analysis, you will identify trends, prepare performance reports, and provide actionable recommendations to optimise workflows and decision-making. Your strong leadership, organisational skills, and commitment to safety will ensure consistent operational performance across multiple sites.
