Job summary

Fortescue’s Solomon mine is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to support outages and major shutdowns. You will assist planning, conduct field work, and develop safe work instructions while driving continuous improvement in maintenance strategies.

The role is based at Solomon/Eliwana facilities with FIFO from Perth. The position requires a mechanical trade and Schedule 26 qualification, with experience in process plant maintenance, safety leadership, and SAP CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trades qualification and ticketing.
• Experience with maintenance in process plants.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and execution in outages and shutdowns.
• Conduct field interactions during maintenance tasks.
• Develop safe work instructions for maintenance plans.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement maintenance strategies.
• Perform precision component replacements during shutdowns and weekly maintenance.
• Lead high-performance teams during shutdowns and weekly maintenance activities.
