Job summary

Fortescue is seeking a suitably qualified Mining Supervisor for our Solomon mine. The role oversees Load & Haul operations in a FIFO ex Perth roster, leading a team focused on safety and efficiency.

You will drive safe, productive operations, mentor crew, conduct pit inspections and investigations, and uphold Fortescue values in a dynamic open-pit environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the mining industry.
• Schedule 26 essential.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to empower large teams.
• Experience in Autonomous Mining operations desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Proven commitment to safety.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of efficiency drivers in a large-scale mining operation.

We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced Mining Supervisor. Mining Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Load & Haul functions of open pit mining operations. The role is focused around leading a team of committed people who share a vision of being the safest and most efficient Mining Team.
