Telfer Mine in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for an immediate start on a temp-to-perm contract. The role involves leading the maintenance crew across an 8/6 roster, coordinating daily work, and ensuring the safety and reliability of heavy mobile plant on a major mining operation.

Key requirements include a Mobile Plant Technology trade qualification, a current S26 Supervisor ticket, and at least 18 months in a supervisory maintenance role within mining.

Formación

• Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Technology trade qualification required.
• Current S26 Supervisor ticket required.
• At least 18 months’ experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a mining environment.
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant (CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu and/or Liebherr).
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Maintenance Supervisor | Temp to Perm Contract | Telfer, WA

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for an immediate-start to commence on contract at Telfer Mine, Western Australia. Working an 8/6 roster across day and night shifts, you’ll lead the maintenance crew, coordinate daily work and help keep the site’s heavy mobile plant operating safely and reliably.

About the role

• Supervise maintenance activities and support the delivery of the maintenance plan
• Lead pre-starts, allocate work and monitor progress throughout each shift
• Coordinate planned maintenance and breakdown work with planning and operations teams
• Promote safe work practices and maintain clear communication across the crew

What you’ll need

• Australian-recognised Mobile Plant Technology trade qualification and a diesel fitter background
• Current S26 Supervisor ticket
• At least 18 months’ experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a mining environment
• Strong experience maintaining heavy mobile plant, including CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu and/or Liebherr equipment
• Sound safety leadership and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Current Australian driver’s licence
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
