Job summary

Terra Mining is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a mobile maintenance team on a major Western Australian project. You will supervise tradespeople, contractors and the maintenance crew, coordinating installation, maintenance and repair work with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will plan resources, manage shutdowns and maintenance schedules, develop staff, and ensure timely parts supply while maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role in mining equipment.
• Australian recognised Certificate of Competency in a relevant trade.
• Statutory Supervisor WHS SRMS certification (Sched 26 min).
• Strong team management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• Must have full Australian working rights and be able to pass medical and police clearance.
• Note: all personnel to be clean shaven as per project requirements.

As one of Western Australia’s growing mining services companies, Terra Mining continues to expand its operations, with new projects and opportunities supporting our continued growth throughout 2026.

We are commencing a new project at the Karara Mine in Western Australia’s Mid-West and are seeking experienced Maintenance Supervisors to join our maintenance team as Terra Mining carry out the construction of a dry tailings dam.

We are seeking Maintenance Supervisors for an immediate start. These are permanent full-time positions offering ongoing employment with Terra Mining.

About the Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons/technicians including contractors as well as coordinating all installation, maintenance and repair work required in the maintenance team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for planning and organizing work, distributing tasks to the team, overseeing work progress and performance.
• Work with senior managers and other supervisors to promote and achieve the overall objectives of the project.
• Develop employees by providing advice, training, encouragement and coaching.
• Ensure workers are well-trained and have the skills and knowledge they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns.
• Ensure parts are ordered, tracked and delivered in a timely fashion for unscheduled work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities including work orders, reports and equipment history.

What we are seeking

A Maintenance Supervisor who is motivated and values safety first in everything they do, including looking out for their teammates.

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role of mining equipment.
• Holds an Australian recognised Certificate of Competency in a relevant trade and/or an Engineering or Technology designation.
• Possess current Statutory Supervisor WHS SRMS certification (Sched 26 min.)
• Demonstrated ability to work safely within a team environment.
• Demonstrated team management and leadership ability.
• Must have experience at an advanced level with asset management and plant maintenance.
• High level of communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Working at Heights ticket.

You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).

Note - all personnel are required to be clean shaven as per project requirements.
