Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and reliability of underground fleet at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Mine in New South Wales. Lead tradespeople, coordinate shutdowns and drive safety and efficiency in a dynamic underground environment.

You will manage maintenance planning, pursuit of continuous improvement and liaison with operations and OEMs while upholding site safety and production targets.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised trade qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic, Auto Electrician or similar
• Experience as Maintenance Supervisor or Leading Hand in underground mining
• Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment and maintenance practices
• Experience managing maintenance teams and coordinating shutdowns, servicing and breakdowns
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Understanding of safety management systems and maintenance planning processes
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Current Australian work rights
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements

• Provide coaching, mentoring and support to tradespeople and apprentices
• Liaise with operations, OEM representatives and site leadership teams
• Manage maintenance reporting, work orders and documentation requirements
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiencies

Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our operations at Evolution Mining's Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee the maintenance and reliability of a modern underground mining fleet while supporting safe and productive mining operations.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of tradespeople and maintenance personnel to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable operation of underground mobile equipment and associated infrastructure. You will play a key role in driving maintenance performance, fleet availability and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of underground mining equipment and maintenance practices

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Sound understanding of safety management systems and maintenance planning processes
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
