Job summary

Terra Mining is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a mobile maintenance team on a major Western Australian project. You will supervise tradespeople, contractors and the maintenance crew, coordinating installation, maintenance and repair work with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will plan resources, manage shutdowns and maintenance schedules, develop staff, and ensure timely parts supply while maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role in mining equipment.
• Australian recognised Certificate of Competency in a relevant trade.
• Statutory Supervisor WHS SRMS certification (Sched 26 min).
• Strong team management and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• Must have full Australian working rights and be able to pass medical and police clearance.
• Note: all personnel to be clean shaven as per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize work, distribute tasks to the team, oversee progress and performance.
• Collaborate with senior managers to achieve project objectives.
• Develop employees via coaching, training and guidance.
• Ensure workers are trained for safety and compliance.
• Manage preventative maintenance schedules and planned shutdowns.
• Ensure parts are ordered, tracked and delivered for unscheduled work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
