Job summary

MACA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine in WA, on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth. The role leads a mobile maintenance team, drives preventative programs, and ensures efficient fleet performance while upholding MACA safety standards.

Trade-qualified mechanical personnel with WA licences and a current Police Clearance are preferred, with strong focus on continuous improvement and field discipline within a Thiess-affiliated MACA operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a mobile maintenance team in a mining production environment.
• Extensive experience in breakdowns, diagnostics and repair across all mobile fleet.
• Trade qualification in mechanical discipline.
• WA driver’s licence and relevant high-risk tickets.
• Attend and contribute to pre-shift, toolbox and safety meetings.
• Statutory Supervisor S26 certificate.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• National Police Clearance within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance personnel, identify areas of improvement and provide coaching and development strategies.
• Oversee scheduled maintenance and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce field breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment performance to ensure optimal utilisation and limit down time.
• Monitor parts and equipment requirements.
• Commitment, respect and compliance to the MACA health, safety and environmental practices.
• Actively participates and contributes to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

MACA are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Sanjiv Ridge working an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Sanjiv Ridge iron ore mine, owned by Hancock Iron Ore, is situated in the Pilbara region of WA approximately 240 kilometres from Port Hedland.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

• Experience leading a mobile maintenance team in a mining production environment.
• Have extensive experience in breakdowns, diagnostics and repair abilities across all mobile fleet.
• Trade qualified in a mechanical discipline.
• Hold a current WA drivers' licence and relevant high-risk tickets.
• Attend and contribute to pre-shift, toolbox and safety meetings.
• Statutory Supervisor S26 certificate.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• A National Police Clearance within 12 months of currency.
