Mackay Regional Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Planning Officer to join our dynamic team within the Facilities & Open Spaces Program. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity within the Facilities & Open Spaces Program and includes participation in an on-call roster (on-call allowance applicable).
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating reactive and preventative maintenance activities across Council's building and community assets. The position requires strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence working within maintenance management systems such as Assetic.
The role is approximately 50% office-based and involves close coordination with internal stakeholders, contractors and operational teams to ensure maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Participation in an on-call roster is required.
