Job summary

CSR Limited in Brisbane's Brendale operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to develop and coordinate preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance plans, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal downtime.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work with maintenance, production, engineering, contractors, and suppliers to keep the site safe and compliant while driving continuous improvement in maintenance performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Maintenance Planner role within manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.
• Experience with preventative, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs.
• Proficient in maintenance performance metrics and reliability concepts.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Strong reporting, systems, and data analysis capability.
• SAP maintenance planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise maintenance plans and schedules to maximise plant reliability and minimise downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance work by planning labour, contractors, materials, tooling, permits, and critical spare parts.
• Lead the planning and coordination of major plant shutdowns, capital works, commissioning activities, and onboarding projects.
• Manage SAP maintenance systems, asset registers, equipment hierarchies, work orders and spares.
• Monitor equipment performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
