Job summary

Ventia is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support the ITS maintenance contract across Victoria. You will coordinate planned, reactive and corrective activities and help ensure safe, reliable delivery of services.

Working with operational teams and supervisors, you will develop rosters, track work orders, and prepare planning documentation for field crews, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness and clear reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination within infrastructure, utilities or maintenance.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with maintenance/project systems such as Maximo, MS Project, Primavera P6.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and accurate records.
• Relevant qualifications in PM, Engineering, Construction Management or Asset Management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned, reactive and corrective maintenance activities across the ITS contract.
• Develop and maintain workforce rosters, including after-hours callout coverage, leave and training requirements.
• Support short and medium-term work planning, scheduling and backlog management activities.
• Track work orders, operational actions and delivery progress, ensuring accurate system updates and records.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, traffic management, permits and subcontractor requirements to support work delivery.
• Prepare operational reports, work packs and planning documentation for supervisors and field crews.
