AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Officer for our pre-opening team. This full-time role keeps the hotel operating safely and to high standards, with opportunities to contribute early in our opening phase and shape guest experiences from day one.

You’ll perform general repairs, tackle minor plumbing and electrical tasks, and coordinate with hotel departments to minimize disruption.

Qualificações

• Hands-on maintenance experience preferred; trade qualification supported.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and basic plumbing.
• Willingness to work across shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
• Able to work safely and independently.

Responsabilidades

• Complete general repairs and minor maintenance throughout the hotel
• Attend to minor plumbing issues, light replacements and basic repairs
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and hotel facilities
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, hazards and safety issues
• Respond promptly to operational and guest-related maintenance requests
• Help maintain guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces to AC standards
• Work closely with hotel departments to minimise disruption and resolve issues efficiently
• Follow Marriott safety, security and quality standards at all times
• Support other reasonable maintenance tasks as required

As our Full-Time Maintenance Officer, you’ll play an important role in keeping the hotel operating safely, smoothly and to the high standards our guests expect.

You’ll be hands‑on, practical and proactive — supporting day‑to‑day maintenance, responding to repair requests and helping ensure our spaces always feel polished, functional and ready for our guests.

What You’ll Do

• Complete general repairs and minor maintenance throughout the hotel
