Surfers Aquarius is a well established, resort style residential tower located absolute beachfront in Surfers Paradise. The Maintenance/Grounds Person will work closely with the Facilities Manager to maintain all building systems, plant, grounds and common areas to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in building, grounds, or facilities maintenance.
• Practical trade skills and problem solving ability.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Facilities Manager.
• Experience in strata or large residential buildings (preferred).

• Carry out routine building maintenance, repairs, and daily checks
• Support the Facilities Manager with scheduled servicing and contractor coordination
• Assist with the upkeep of pools, gardens, landscaped areas, plant rooms, and common areas
• Respond to Common Property maintenance requests and building issues
• Maintain compliance with WHS requirements and strata by laws
• Keep accurate maintenance records and assist with preventative maintenance programs
