Responsibilities include grounds and pool maintenance, basic repairs, regular inspections, and coordinating with resident requests and external contractors, while maintaining accurate records and complying with WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience within a strata style complex or similar.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Strong practical skills in minor repairs and handyman work.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• Professional demeanor with ability to interact respectfully with high-profile individuals.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work autonomously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills, with clear written and verbal communication.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grounds/Handyman to oversee the daily upkeep of three prestigious strata-titled buildings located in close proximity in Coolangatta. This role is essential in maintaining the exceptional standards our residents and guests have come to expect.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Grounds/Handyman to oversee the daily upkeep of three prestigious strata-titled buildings located in close proximity in Coolangatta. This role is essential in maintaining the exceptional standards our residents and guests have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities

Grounds Maintenance

• Maintain immaculate presentation of all landscaped areas, gardens, and common outdoor spaces
• Keep pathways, driveways, and external common areas clean and debris-free
• Monitor and maintain external lighting and outdoor fixtures

Pool Maintenance

• Conduct daily pool cleaning and water quality testing
• Balance pool chemicals to ensure safe swimming conditions
• Clean pool surfaces, filters, and equipment
• Monitor and maintain pool plant equipment
• Ensure pool areas are pristine and welcoming at all times

Building Maintenance

• Perform minor repairs including painting touch-ups, door adjustments, and fixture repairs
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and building management
• Maintain common areas including waste rooms, lobbies, corridors, and amenity spaces
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialised repairs when required

General Duties

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used
• Ensure all work complies with WHS regulations and strata requirements
• Interact professionally and discreetly with residents and guests

Essential Requirements
