Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and completing the day‑to‑day operation of the Maintenance department.

How You’ll Shine

You will maintain a high standard in all areas of unit repairs, external property, and resort common‑area maintenance, in line with Body Corporate budgets and caretaker agreements. You will also keep up‑to‑date records of all repairs, maintenance contracts, inventories, fire safety records, and other department paperwork.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role is essential.
• High level of competence and technical experience in general resort property and grounds maintenance and repairs (including electrical, plumbing installations, building and pool maintenance).
• Experience in strata property management, holiday letting pools, and caretaker agreements is highly regarded.
• Experience with hotel/resort refurbishments is highly regarded.
• Current First Aid certificate and comprehensive understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling.
• Results‑oriented, with strong time‑management and organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task and use initiative.
• Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with experience in strata ownership operations.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holiday periods.
• Ability to maintain accurate filing of all maintenance and service records and preparation of monthly reports.
• Trade qualification desirable.
• Current driver’s licence.
