Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Holiday Inn Perth City Centre is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the hotel. You will oversee HVAC, electrical and lift systems, drive capital works, and manage budgets and contractor relationships to ensure safety, reliability and brand compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a maintenance/engineering role.
• Experience managing multi-site or large hotel facilities.
• Strong knowledge of building services and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with capital projects and contractors.
• Financial acumen with budget control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the maintenance team across the hotel.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, lifts, BMS and infrastructure.
• Manage preventive maintenance to meet brand standards and legislation.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and energy management initiatives.
• Plan and deliver capital works and asset replacements.
• Source and negotiate supplier/contractor agreements.
• Ensure WHS, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance via maintenance reporting and asset management.
• Drive sustainability and energy efficiency across the property.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership and support emergencies.
• Maintain on-call structure for engineering support.
