Energy Australia is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Mount Piper Power Station, NSW. You will lead maintenance, planning and quality, sit on the site leadership team and drive strategy to improve reliability and performance.
You will manage safety, budget, and workforce planning across a large team, including direct and indirect reports, delivering robust maintenance programs and stakeholder engagement.
Mount Piper Power Station is in the New South Wales Central West region, approx. 20 kilometres west of Lithgow. The large power station is fuelled using black coal sourced from mines in the local area and is the youngest and one of the most flexible coal fired assets in the National Electricity Market (NEM).
Mount Piper Power Station is expected to operate for many more years to come.

Mount Piper Power Station's maintenance team keeps our plant reliable, safe, and running at its best.
As Maintenance Leader, you'll manage the maintenance, planning and quality functions for the site, and sit on the site leadership team helping shape strategy and decisions.
Your commercial and technical experience will aid in identifying opportunities to improve plant availability and performance, while managing risk across all fixed plant assets — and fostering a safe, engaged team culture along the way.
Reporting to the Head of Mount Piper, with 5x direct reports and 60+ indirect reports across generation plant, external plant, electrical/technician teams, and planning and scheduling, this is a genuine leadership role with real scope to make an impact.
