Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support Northern NSW operations across Dubbo, Tamworth or Narrabri offices. You will develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for ~40 sites, plan materials and contractors, and collaborate with supervisors on preventive maintenance and servicing.

• Partner with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources.
• Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work.
• Maintain up-to-date technical information and equipment maintenance history.
• Continually improve planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems.
• Travel to sites about one in every three weeks for shutdown and project planning.

About the role

Reporting to the Northern NSW Maintenance Manager and based flexibly from either Dubbo, Tamworth or Narrabri offices the Maintenance Planner is responsible for:

• Working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for Northern NSW country operations (~40 sites)
• Planning materials, resources, equipment and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
• Consulting with operations supervisors / leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
• Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively
• Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
• Maintaining up-keep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history
• Continually improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management and job reporting systems

There is travel required in the role (about one in every three weeks) to sites in our Northern NSW country network, largely for shutdown and project planning.

About your experience

Our ideal candidate has experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within any industry with preference for those with multi-site experience. Exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritisation and planning skills are a must in this position.
