Job summary

Essence Communities, part of UniLodge Living Group, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day facilities at Assemble Victoria Street, Brunswick.

You will lead maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general upkeep, develop preventative programs, manage budgets and safety standards, and coordinate contractors to ensure high presentation and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and residents.
• Highly organised with strong time management and multitasking capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on achieving KPIs and high standards.
• Hands-on professional with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering high-quality facilities management.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia and a National Police Check, or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all building and apartment maintenance, including repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general upkeep.
