Job summary

Aestec Services in Queensland is seeking an experienced leader to motivate teams, build strong relationships and create an environment where people can perform at their best.

You will lead supervisors and large operational teams in a fast-paced civil, construction, mining or industrial setting, prioritising safety, quality and continuous improvement while delivering projects for clients and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement, with industry experience advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing large teams in complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support large teams to achieve safe, productive and high-quality outcomes.
• Foster a positive team culture focused on safety, accountability, collaboration and performance.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to Supervisors and operational teams.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Coordinate people, resources and operational activities to support successful project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance team performance and efficiencies.
• Support workforce planning, employee development and succession initiatives.
• Promote and uphold AESTEC's commitment to safety, quality and employee wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with AESTEC Management to align operational outcomes with business objectives.
• Support contract delivery and operational performance while ensuring our people remain at the centre of decision-making.
• You'll have support from experienced supervisors and operational teams enabling you to focus on leading people.
