Wagner Consultants is recruiting maintenance professionals in Brisbane/Yatala for a market-leading FMCG/building materials manufacturer. The role focuses on breakdown and preventative maintenance across multiple lines, with a 4-on/4-off roster and penalty rates.

Work is based at Brisbane/Yatala sites operating up to 24/7/6 weeks a year, with a safety-focused environment and strong emphasis on reliability. You will join a team of 18 permanent trades in a facility that operates with high output

Qualifications

• Experience with breakdown and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of mechanical/electrical issues.
• Managing repairs, servicing and maintenance of equipment.
• Reviewing and creating preventative maintenance plans for reliability.
• Supporting improvements to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Maintaining OH&S and operational standards.

$52.37ph 4 on 4 off roster plus penaltis $140k++

$51.37 to $59.09ph super + overtime - afternoons 1.30pm - 10pm WACOL

These companies are market leaders within the FMCG and building materials space. Based in Brisbane and South Brisbane, the sites operate on a 24/6 or 24/7 basis and 52 weeks of the year. The output is high, and the company is driven to provide a safety-focused environment with the aim of operational excellence. Fixed day or fixed night shift available Monday to Friday; permanent opportunity.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisors at their Yatala site, you will be working in a team of maintenance professionals in a plant that operates 24/5-6 days per week, driving plant reliability and minimising downtime to ensure production targets can be met across three lines. Your team will consist of 18 permanent trades (mechanical & electrical), and supervisors and a planner. Your remit will focus on providing operational efficiency to ensure machinery is able to perform at an optimal level whilst adhering to safety protocols.
