Job summary

Blackbook Executive Pty is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent day shift role at a major production facility in Dinmore, QLD. The position offers stability, ongoing training, and a supportive team in a modern facility with continuous equipment upgrades.

You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and upkeep of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics, contributing to safety and reliability in a large FMCG operation.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner / Maintenance Fitter.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, meat processing, packaging or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production assets.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment.
• Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with shutdown and project work.
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining maintenance records and completing work orders.

The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
