Blackbook Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent day shift role in Dinmore, QLD. The position offers job security, a supportive team environment, and ongoing investment in equipment and automation within a large food manufacturing operation.

You will maintain production assets, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and work with conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or Maintenance Fitter.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, meat processing, packaging or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across production assets.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical equipment.
• Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Supporting plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with shutdown and project work.
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining maintenance records and completing work orders.

Maintenance Fitter – Day Shift Dinmore, QLD | $45.10/hr + Super + Overtime Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking to join one of the region’s largest and most established food manufacturing operations?

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established maintenance team at a major production facility in Dinmore.
