Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the Maintenance team at our Beenleigh processing site in Queensland. You will fault-find on intricate meat processing machines, perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, and help identify bottlenecks to minimise downtime.

The role is a night shift (Sunday to Thursday) with an attractive hourly rate and opportunities to upskill in meat production and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification is required.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation is required.
• Excellent communications and technical skills are required.
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings.
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs.
• Switchboard building experience is desirable.
• PLC and HMI programming experience is desirable.
• Fire systems experience is desirable.
• Current drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

• Fault find on intricate meat processing machines.
• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Assist in identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to improve throughput.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Night shift role – Sunday to Thursday.
