Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Tamworth processing site in New South Wales. The role focuses on fault finding, planned and reactive maintenance, and reducing downtime across meat processing equipment.

The successful candidate will hold an Electrical trade qualification, have instrumentation knowledge, and strong PLC/VSD fault-finding skills, with the ability to read circuit drawings and build switchboards. A current driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification is required.
• Knowledge of instrumentation.
• Excellent communications and technical skills.
• Ability to develop circuit drawings and read circuit drawings.
• Fault finding experience with VSDs & PLCs.
• Switchboard building experience is desirable.
• PLC and HMI programming experience is desirable.
• Fire systems experience is desirable.
• Current drivers licence is required.
