Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking a Maintenance Team Member at the Jindalee site in NSW to provide repair, maintenance and capital works support, ensuring reliable plant operation.

The role requires knowledge of heavy agricultural equipment, welding (MIG & Stick), hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and a forklift license or willingness to obtain one. This is a full-time permanent role with training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy agricultural equipment and diesel/mechanical fitting.
• Welding experience (MIG and stick).
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Q-Fever vaccination (or willing to get).

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespersons with diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Identify ways to maximise efficiency and minimise utility costs.
• Suggest improvements to productivity, efficiency and profitability.
• Attend urgent maintenance breakdowns to avoid production losses.
• Perform repairs according to maintenance planning schedules.
• Carry out mechanical repairs in line with WHS policies.

About the role

Join our Jindalee team working as a Maintenance Team Member providing repair, maintenance, andcapital works service at our site.

The responsibilities include:

• Assisting tradespersons with diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Recommend ways to maximiseefficiency and minimise costs of utilities.
• Recommend ways to enhanceproductivity, efficiency and profitability of the plant.
Attend to urgent maintenancebreakdowns to avoid loss of production.
• Carry out repair work inaccordance with maintenance planning schedules.
• Carry out all mechanicalrepairs in accordance with Teys Australia WHS policies and procedures.

About You:

• Knowledgeof heavy agricultural equipment, diesel/mechanical fitting, millingequipment,water pumps and environment technology.
• MIGand stick welding experience.
• Experiencewith hydraulic and pneumatic operations.
• Q-FeverVaccination (or willing to get)
