Job summary

Teys Australia is seeking Entry Level Meat Processing workers to join the Beenleigh, QLD processing site team. The role involves working on production lines and performing various processing tasks across different areas as needed by experience and skillset.

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, provide two references, and meet Australian working rights. An achievable path to upskill into maintenance or supervisory roles is available.

Qualifications

• Australian Citizen/Permanent Residency/Full Working Rights in Australia are essential.
• Willing to do a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Q-Fever vaccinated.
• Be able to provide two professional references.

The role will be responsible for various meat processing activities. With various areas requiring reliable new team members, depending on your previous experience and skillsets, you could find yourself doing the following activities:

• Production work/process line
• Trimming, cutting, boning, and slicing and/or slaughter
• Cleaning and sterilising work areas and equipment
• Meatpacking
• General labouring
• Operation of equipment and machinery
