Job summary

Carinya Lodge Homes in Korumburra is looking for a hands-on Maintenance team member to support routine inspections, attend to work orders, and maintain outdoor spaces for residents.

We welcome someone with maintenance experience, a proactive approach to safety, good communication, and the ability to work independently. A driver’s licence and basic computer skills help; we offer a supportive team and stable employment.

What you’ll do:

• Routine inspections & responding to work orders
• Lawn care, gardening, pruning & landscaping
• Pressure washing & keeping outdoor areas tidy
• Cleaning of maintenance areas & waste management
• Collaborate with other departments

About you:

• Experience in maintenance or a trade‑related role
• Proactive, safety‑focused, and able to work independently
• Able to prioritize works and follow schedules
• Good problem‑solving skills & attention to detail
• Comfortable using hand & power tools
• Physically fit and happy working indoors & outdoors
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confident in using technology and basic computer skills
• Driver’s licence + Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Highly desirable

• Test and Tag certification
• Experience in Residential Aged Care or Retirement village
