Carinya Lodge is seeking a hands‑on Maintenance assistant to join our team in a casual, temporary capacity. You will handle routine inspections, respond to work orders, and contribute to lawn care, cleaning, and waste management across our aged care setting.

The role requires independent work, strong problem‑solving skills, and comfort with hand and power tools. Prioritising tasks, safety, and reliable communication with other departments are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or a trade‑related role.
• Proactive, safety‑focused and able to work independently.
• Able to prioritise works and follow schedules.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and happy indoors and outdoors.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Confident in using technology and basic computer skills.
• Driver’s licence and willingness to obtain Police Check.
