Job summary

Bespoke Property Solutions is seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance / All Rounder to join our team in Sydney. The role covers a wide range of maintenance tasks across multiple properties, delivering high-quality service and ensuring client satisfaction and property longevity.

The successful candidate will perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs, conduct inspections, and respond promptly to maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance, handyperson work, or a related trade within the property or facilities management sector.
• Demonstrated ability in at least two of the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical works.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable access to transportation for travelling between multiple properties.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights where required.
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and building regulations applicable to NSW properties.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks.
• A commitment to maintaining professional standards and presenting a positive image to clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs across multiple residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and areas requiring attention.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to property occupants.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work completed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
• Perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of building systems, fixtures, and appliances.
• Assist with minor renovations, upgrades, and installations as required.
• Liaise with contractors and service providers when specialist work is needed.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any deficiencies.
