Job summary

Repair Rebels Pty Ltd on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a hands-on all-rounder to join our maintenance team. The role covers carpentry, general maintenance and repairs, and plastering, with work across residential properties, schools and childcare centres.

You will need to work well in a small, supportive team, take direction, think on your feet, bring your own tools, hold a current driver's licence, and be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Trade background in carpentry or related trade.
• Own tools and valid driver’s license.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry work on residential properties, schools and childcare centres.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs as required.
• Plastering (bonus points if skilled) and other trades tasks.
• Travel around Mornington Peninsula area when needed.

We're a Mornington Peninsula maintenance company looking for a hands-on all-rounder to join our team.

We look after maintenance contracts and residential property maintenance across the Peninsula and surrounding suburbs. Our crew is tight-knit, and positivity runs deep in everything we do. We need someone who'll bring the same energy.

We currently service schools and childcare centres and are growing this side of the business, which means real opportunities for the right person to grow with us.

The role

This is a varied, all-round position. On any given day you might be:

• Carrying out carpentry work
• Handling general maintenance and repairs
• Plastering (bonus points if this is in your skill set)
• Working on residential properties, schools and childcare centres

Work is based around the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding suburbs. Travel to jobs outside the area is uncommon but can happen.

What we're looking for

• Someone who can take direction, work well within a team, and also work independently
• Quick thinking and good problem-solving on the job
• Pride in your work and attention to detail
• A trade background (highly regarded)
• Your own tools (a must)
• A current driver's licence
• A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
