Job summary

SCIS Property Group is seeking a Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter to join our Sydney team. This on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality maintenance, keeping the single commercial building in top condition.

You will inspect, repair, and coordinate with on-site client, with a strong customer-service mindset. The position offers a company vehicle and equipment, iPhone, PPE, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience providing maintenance on commercial sites.
• Comfortable using a mobile phone and mobile applications.
• Ability to pass a National Police Check and security clearances.
• Positive can-do attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a single-site building.

Job description

We are a specialist maintenance company servicing a number of large Government and Commercialclients and are currently looking for an Maintenance Handyman/Carpenter to join our Sydney team.

This position is based on-site at a premium, award-winning, single commercial building in Sydney CBD.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Maintenance technician/handyman, you will work autonomously to deliver high quality handyman works safely, whilst making decisions about priorities to keep the operations running smoothly.

Based on a single site, you will have the opportunity take ownership of all maintenance required to keep the site functioning at its best. You will complete tasks logged by staff on site, as well as conducting proactive inspections, and picking up repairs yourself.

Use your positive, can-do attitude to tackle problems as they arise and use your technical experience to undertake necessary repairs. Communicate with our office and the on-site client to report when other trades or specialists are required and assist them on site when needed.

ABOUT YOU

Experience providing maintenance on commercial sites is required

Comfortable using a mobile phone and mobile applications

Ability to pass a National Police Check and other additional security clearances

A positive-can do attitude, ready to work as a team, and provide premium customer service to our client on site
