Job summary

Australia Post is hiring a Mail Sorting Officer at the Sydney Parcel Facility to support preparation for next-day delivery. You will help process letters, parcels and Express Post items, sort non-machine mail and assist with loading/unloading mail from bags and containers.

Qualifications

• Flexible and willing to work extra hours when needed.
• Detail‑focused, reliable and able to handle mail up to 16kg.
• Clear communication and teamwork in busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing letters, parcels and Express Post items to prepare for next-day delivery.
• Sort mail that can’t be machine‑processed and help load/unload mail from bags, trays and containers.
• Operate with safety, using load‑shifting tools and collaborating with the team to keep mail moving efficiently.
