Job summary

Australia Post in Adelaide’s Camden Park Delivery Centre is seeking a Mail Sorting Officer to assist in preparing mail for the next day’s delivery. You’ll handle letters, parcels and Express Post items, sorting misfitted mail and helping load/unload mail from bags and containers with your team.

This entry‑level role emphasizes safety, reliability and teamwork, offering practical skill-building and pathways into broader processing, delivery and logistics roles within the organization.

Qualifications

• Flexible and reliable with ability to adapt to varying start/end times
• Detail-focused and able to handle mail and parcels up to 16kg
• Clear communication and proactive teamwork in busy environments
• Experience with pallet jacks or stackers is helpful but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing letters, parcels and Express Post items.
• Sort mail that cannot be machine-processed and help load/unload mail from bags, trays and containers.
• Operate across processing equipment and systems with load-shifting tools and teammates.
• Support a safe, efficient and reliable mail processing workflow in the facility.
