Job summary

Suncorp Group is seeking a Claims Advisor based in Canberra to manage a portfolio of MAI claims arising from motor vehicle accidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service while driving commercial outcomes, ensuring timely settlement and appropriate rehabilitation for claimants.

You will collaborate with medical providers, internal teams, and external bodies to resolve claims, assess needs, and maintain compliance with ACT MAI requirements. Strong communication and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with MAI or personal injury claims is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with claimants, providers and teams.
• Demonstrated empathy and compassion for customers.
• Strong written and administrative skills to manage each claim.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of MAI claims for motor vehicle accident injuries.
• Facilitate customer recovery and resolve claims quickly and effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with internal teams.
• Assess treatment and rehabilitation needs for claims.
• Ensure compliance with legislative timeframes and internal policies.
• Support settlement calculations and negotiations with lawyers/Claims teams.
