Job Description

Kinglake Farms Pty Ltd is a large family-run horticulture business with operations in Kinglake VIC and Rosewood NSW. The company specialises in growing and packing premium blueberries for domestic distribution to the national supermarkets. The business is seeking a full-time qualified Machinery Supervisor. The salary offered is $79,423 per annum plus superannuation. The Machinery Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of farm machinery and equipment.
• Coordinate daily machinery schedules to support key farming activities.
• Oversee the performance and safety of machinery operators to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
• Monitor machinery performance, diagnose faults, and arrange for timely servicing and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, servicing schedules, and repair histories.
• Collaborate with the farm manager to monitor and evaluate production records and reports.

The Machinery Supervisor is required to have the following qualifications and experience:

• A relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent; OR
• 3 years of employment experience as a machinery supervisor.

The Machinery Supervisor will have the following qualities and skills:

• Previous work experience as a Farm Mechanic or Farm Equipment Maintenance Supervisor within agriculture/horticulture is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience of agricultural production principles.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in farming machinery maintenance.
