This full-time Mobile Plant Operator role offers a salary of AU$79,423 per year plus superannuation. You will prepare and position farm machinery, operate orchard equipment, and maintain gear.

Qualifications

• AQF Cert II or equivalent AND at least 1 year (20+ hours per week) relevant experience; OR
• 2 years (10+ hours per week) of relevant experience AND 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Previous farming or horticulture experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position farm machinery and equipment for daily operations in the orchard areas.
• Operate tractor-drawn and self-propelled machinery to cultivate soil, apply fertiliser, spray crops, and assist in harvesting blueberries.
• Adjust machinery settings, including speed, height, and depth of implements, to suit varying soil conditions and crop requirements.
• Maintain machinery in good working condition by cleaning, checking fluids, and performing minor servicing and repairs.
• Complete work records and equipment logs accurately to track usage and maintenance.

The salary offered is $79,423 per annum plus superannuation. The Mobile Plant Operator will be responsible for the following duties:

• Prepare and position farm machinery and equipment for daily operations in the orchard areas.
• Operate tractor-drawn and self-propelled machinery to cultivate soil, apply fertiliser, spray crops, and assist in harvesting blueberries.
• Adjust machinery settings, including speed, height, and depth of implements, to suit varying soil conditions and crop requirements.
