Job summary

J.S Kandola & S More & P Singh Gill is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan, implement and monitor farm production strategies for berries in Kungala NSW. You will oversee production activities, quality control and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has AQF Cert III/IV or equivalent with several years of farm experience, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to coordinate across departments to deliver quality fruit on schedule.

Qualifications

• AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications, or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a similar farm role, or 3 years with formal training, or 5 years without formal training.
• Strong understanding of agricultural production processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans.
• Planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements.
• Controlling the operation of production plant and quality procedures through planning of maintenance, designation of operating hours and supply of parts and tools.
• Monitoring production output and costs and adjusting processes and resources to minimise costs.
• Informing other Managers about production matters.
• Overseeing the acquisition and installation of new plant and equipment.
• Directing research into production methods, and recommending and implementing initiatives.
• Controlling the preparation of production records and reports.
• Coordinating the implementation of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Directing staff activities and monitoring their performance.

Our client, J.S Kandola & S More & P Singh Gill is a farm in regional NSW that grows blueberries, raspberries and blackberries of different varieties and aims to provide our customers with fresh and quality produce.

Tasks:

• Determining, implementing and monitoring production strategies, policies and plans.
• Planning details of production activities in terms of output quality and quantity, cost, time available and labour requirements.
• Controlling the operation of production plant and quality procedures through planning of maintenance, designation of operating hours and supply of parts and tools.

Eligibility:

• Have at least relevant AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications and Have 2 Years of working experience in a similar role in a farm setting. or equivalent or 3 years of employment experience with formal training OR 5 years of experience without formal training.
• Strong understanding of agricultural production processes.
• Attention to detail and quick decision-making to address quality issues, equipment failures, and operational challenges.
• Proficiency in quality control and adherence to standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to coordinate with various departments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Possess a keen eye for detail to oversee product quality.
• Strong organizational skills are also essential for managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
