Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) seeks a Machinery Operator for remote cattle stations in Bunda (NT) and Carlton Hill (WA). You will maintain roads, assist with grader work, and support station operations in a unique outback setting.

The role offers meals on site, single air-conditioned accommodation, and seven weeks annual leave, with the CPC Enterprise Agreement 2026 guiding terms.

Qualifications

• Interest in working and living on a remote cattle station.
• Previous grading and plant operation experience is desirable.
• Nationally accredited plant tickets are desirable but not essential.

Un-ticketed grader operators with practical experience are encouraged to apply for this role.

Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding job that includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments.

This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders.

This job can be physically strenuous (demanding) from time to time. You will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull from 10 - 20 kilo's and occasionally more.
