Job summary

Bega Group, based in Penrith, NSW, is seeking a hands-on operator to run blow moulding lines and monitor bottle quality for supply and packaging. This role supports our Great Australian Food Company journey by delivering consistent, safe production with attention to detail and teamwork.

The successful candidate will be mechanically minded, have basic computer skills, and work well within cross-functional teams to maintain high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing desirable.
• Mechanically minded; trades background highly regarded.
• Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality and reporting.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Safe setup and operation of blow moulding machines to produce best quality bottles.
• Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues.
• Accurate completion and recording of quality, testing and production documentation.
• Work efficiently to reduce downtime and improve output.

Job description

The Role Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year - receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products. This role requires blow moulding basic machine operation and to monitor the quality and output of bottles for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Safe setup and operation of all blow moulding machines to produce best quality bottles
• Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues

About you
