Job summary

Momentum Consulting Group is screening experienced Machine Operators for a fast-paced FMCG packaging environment in Sydney. The role offers a four-day week, giving a Friday off, with early starts and potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will operate and set up packaging machinery, monitor production, handle basic troubleshooting, and ensure food safety procedures are followed. A strong team player with reliability and initiative will thrive.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

You’ll be working across a variety of packaging machinery and production processes. We’re looking for someone who can confidently operate machinery and is keen to develop their skills further.

As you progress, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, including:

• Operating a variety of packaging machinery
• Machine setup and changeovers
• Monitoring production and quality
• Troubleshooting and resolving basic machine issues
• Multitasking across different production lines
• Working autonomously once trained
• Following food safety, quality and production procedures
• Working as part of a close-knit production team

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally have previous experience as a Machine Operator within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or a similar production environment.
