Job summary

Bingo Industries in Queensland is seeking a Machine Operator for our dry and mixed waste recycling facility in Sheldon. You will operate excavators and front-end loaders to sort and recover valuable materials and support our mission to divert waste from landfill.

You’ll work day shifts with some variation, bringing 1–3 years of relevant experience from waste, civil, construction, mining, or quarry sectors. A current driver’s licence is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience operating excavators and/or front-end loaders.
• Ability to work day shifts, with some variation as required.
• Experience in waste, civil, construction, mining, or quarry industries is highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety and effective radio communication.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

• Operate excavators and front-end loaders to sort and recover materials.
• Support recycling processes and divert waste from landfill.
• Follow safety procedures and communicate clearly with team members.
• Maintain equipment and report any issues promptly.

In this role, you’ll operate excavators and front-end loaders to sort and recover valuable materials, supporting the recycling of materials.

What You Bring

• 1-3 years’ experience operating excavators and/or front-end loaders
• Ability to work day shifts, with some variation as required
• Experience in waste, civil, construction, mining, or quarry industries (highly regarded)
• Strong commitment to safety, including the ability to follow signage and communicate clearly via 2-way radio
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport (limited public transport in the area)
