Job summary

Bingo Industries in NSW is seeking skilled machine operators to join our Alexandria transfer station team on a permanent, full-time basis with overnight shifts. You will operate excavators and front-end loaders to sort and recover recyclable materials for reprocessing, contributing to a Waste Free Australia.

Must have 1–3 years’ experience, relevant licences, VOC training acceptable, and the ability to read safety signs and communicate clearly on a 2-way radio.

• Relevant licences and tickets; VOC training acceptable.
• Waste industry or processing/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety signs and communicate on a 2-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator and/or front-end loader at Alexandria transfer station.
• Identify and sort heavy recyclable materials (bricks, concrete, tiles, steel, timber).
• Assist in recovering recyclables to support Waste Free Australia.

About the Role:

As BINGO continues to grow its NSW network, we are looking for skilled and experienced Operators to join our team, with multiple roles across multiple recycling and resource recovery sites.

This person will be supporting work at our Alexandria transfer station!

How are you important to us?

Our machine operators are working towards BINGO's clear purpose of diverting waste from landfill to be reprocessed and recycled by identifying and sorting our heavy recyclable materials in one of our excavator and front end loader machines. You will assist in the recovery of recyclable materials such as bricks, concrete, tiles, steel and timber - helping us push for a Waste Free Australia!

What you bring:

Minimum 1-3 years' experience operating an excavator and/or front-end loader - Strong preference for people coming from Waste Industry, or have processing experience

Ability to work a day shift - Permanent role, guaranteed Hours

Relevant licences and tickets, VOC training is acceptable

Waste industry, or relevant industries - Ie Processing/Manufacturing/Other heavy industry fields

We care about your safety first so the ability to read and understand safety signs and communicate clearly into a 2-way radio is very important

Current drivers' licence and own transport due to limited public transport options
