Job summary

BINGO Industries is hiring a Labourer for the Day Shift at Sheldon, Queensland. The role involves supporting the recycling processing line, performing manual handling tasks and ensuring safety and environmental compliance on site.

No prior experience required; you need to be a team player with a positive attitude and a valid driver’s licence is preferred due to limited public transport. Weekly pay and employee benefits are available.

Qualifications

• No experience required; fit for a heavy industrial environment.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and own transport preferred.
• Ability to interpret safety signs and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• 8 hour shifts on site.
• Assist with recovery of recyclable materials for processing and resale as eco products.
• Identify and troubleshoot processing line issues to maintain efficiency and prevent blockages.
• Perform manual handling tasks including sweeping, raking, lifting and cleaning.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance and raise concerns as needed.

BINGO industries are looking for our newest Labourer this is an exciting opportunity working on Day Shift out of Sheldon.

Role & Responsibilities:

• 8 hour shifts
• Recyclable materials include bricks, cement, tiles, steel, and timber
• You will assist with the recovery of materials to be processed and resold as eco product
• You have a key role to ensure continued efficiency of the processing line by identifying and troubleshooting any issues, including line blockages and catch points
• Manual handling tasks including sweeping, raking, lifting and general cleaning
• Identify and raise concerns to ensure continued safety and environmental compliance

What makes you a GOgetter:

• No experience necessary but you will be a team player with a positive approach
• A current drivers’ licence and own transport is highly preferable because local public transport options are limited
• The proven ability to safely complete a range of physical and manual tasks
• Be happy to roll your sleeves up in a heavy industrial environment. It gets noisy!
• Strong verbal and visual communication skills including being able to interpret safety signs.
