Job summary

JBS Pork Australia is seeking a skilled Electrician to join the Farming Team at our Corowa site. The role provides efficient repair and maintenance services for facilities and equipment, ensuring uptime and compliance with safety standards.

You will perform general electrical maintenance, on-site repairs, and support apprentices while contributing to ongoing improvements and training initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Corowa, NSW.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of electrical maintenance practices.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety rules.
• Good communication, initiative and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping.
• Current valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform general electrical maintenance at the Corowa site.
• Undertake on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
• Complete daily work routines and project work as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe, proper working condition.
• Assist in training other employees / apprentices.
• Ensure objectives are reviewed and met annually.
• Contribute to key business activities as needed.
• Adhere to Company policies and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.

This full-time position is responsible for providing an efficient and effective repair and maintenance service for Company facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general electrical maintenance.
• Undertake on-site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
• Complete daily work routines, jobs and project work in accordance with Company needs and priorities.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
• Assist in the training of other employees / apprentices.
• Ensure annual objectives are regularly reviewed and met.
• Contribute to key business activities (as required).
• Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times.
• Perform other duties as directed.
