Job summary

Sofitel Adelaide is seeking a proactive leader to manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional service and pristine standards. You will oversee front- and back-of-house cleanliness, mentor a diverse team and coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Applicants should have luxury-hospitality experience, strong leadership and flexibility, plus familiarity with Opera PMS. This role supports our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within luxury.
• Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor large teams.
• Prior experience working with Opera or a similar Property Management System.
• Excellent time-management, problem solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily departmental operations with focus on guest interactions.
• Conduct regular inspections of front and back-of-house areas to maintain high cleanliness.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Safeguard and manage cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective linen use.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and guest concerns are addressed.
