Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is seeking passionate Wait Staff to join our Food & Beverage team at Delta Rue, delivering exceptional dining experiences in a luxury setting.

In this guest-facing role you will provide attentive service, take orders accurately, coordinate with kitchen and hotel teams, and uphold Sofitel’s premium standards. A valid RSA is required or you must obtain one, with availability across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• RSA certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in a high-volume hotel or premium restaurant environment preferred.
• Ability to provide thoughtful, accurate, quick service while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
• Take and process food and beverage orders with accuracy and care
• Ensure food and beverages are delivered and presented in a timely, polished manner
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment
• Assist with table set-up, clearing and resetting throughout service
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure seamless service
• Adhere to hotel policies, food safety standards, WHS, and responsible service of alcohol regulations
• Support opening and closing duties as required
