Job summary

The Langham Melbourne is seeking entry-level Porters to join our Front Office team. You will assist guests with luggage, warmly greet guests, and help deliver and retrieve luggage to and from rooms, contributing to a memorable guest experience.

This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and the ability to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment. A manual driving license is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position suitable for starting a career in Hospitality.
• Must hold a current full manual Australian driver's license or International Driver's Licence (manual).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ambassadors of the Langham Brand; taking initiative to offer exceptional customer service and a memorial experience
• Greet all guests with a warm and welcoming smile
• Assist guests entering and departing the hotel with luggage
• Deliver luggage to, and collect luggage from guest rooms
• Valet car parking
• Familiarise the guests with the hotel rooms, facilities, amenities and services
