Job summary

Crystalbrook Riley in Cairns is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Officer to maintain high hotel standards. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will perform repairs, preventative maintenance and respond to issues to ensure a seamless guest experience.

You will bring practical maintenance skills across general repairs, painting and building maintenance, with safety and quality at the forefront. A collaborative approach with hotel teams and external contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, facilities, building maintenance or related field.
• Hands-on capability across general repairs, painting or preventative maintenance.
• Ability to assess issues and explore practical solutions with support when needed.
• Proactive mindset and eye for detail that others may miss.
• Ability to plan your day, prioritise requests and follow tasks through.
• Collaborative approach with hotel teams and external contractors.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and presentation standards.

Responsibilities
